My Journey

How yoga saved my life

I discovered yoga during lockdown at first, simply drawn to the fun of trying new poses. But very quickly, I realised it was much more than a physical practice. Yoga became a guide that helped me navigate uncertainty and stay grounded when life felt unsettled. Through regular classes and the support of a kind community, I found connection and friendship that continue to enrich my life. In time, I felt called to go deeper.

I travelled to India to train as a yoga teacher an experience that reshaped not just my practice, but my perspective on life. Yoga strengthened my body and mind, brought structure to my days, and offered calm and clarity.

I’ve learned that yoga is not about flexibility or perfection it’s about presence, patience, and self-compassion. Through teaching, my intention is to share this transformative practice and help others find balance, resilience, and a deeper connection within themselves.

Qualifications

Path of Learning

Successfully completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with a Yoga Alliance–registered school, building a strong foundation in yoga philosophy, anatomy, sequencing, and mindful teaching practices.
